Virtual Inspection for Aging-in-Place Home Modifications

Richard Acree, as a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), offers consulting services to assist with aging-in-place home modifications. Normally this will involve an onsite property inspection to identify any barriers to mobility.

If desired, a preliminary virtual inspection can be completed using plans and specifications for the home. This virtual inspection will not be as detailed as an onsite inspection, but it will identify the major issues in the home that could be barriers to mobility. In this endeavor, the client will be asked to send a copy of the plans and specifications to Richard to complete the virtual inspection.

A virtual inspection can help keep fees down by lowering transportation costs. Although an onsite inspection is recommended, a virtual inspection can go a long ways toward improving mobility and safety in the home.
